MAPPING BALTIMORE ARABBERS

Mapping Baltimore Arabbers is a collaborative digital public history project designed to document the location of former and current Arabber stables and the markets where they purchased their wares. The project provides a visual representation of the Arabber’s impact in Baltimore throughout the 20th century, and preserves Arabbers stories and memories about their experiences. Mapping Baltimore Arabbers is the foundation for a larger effort to collect, preserve, and interpret Arabber history.
