207 Bruce Street

This stable is one of the three stables still in existence. Although it is not currently licensed for Arabbing, the current owner, Dorothy Johns, owns and cares for horses out of the space. According to retired Arabber Roland Freeman, this location existed as an Arabber stable since the 1930s.[1] Throughout the second half of the 20th century, the stable has changed hands several times, it was owned by both Ed Chapman and Cyrus “Saul” Taylor.[2]
